Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, May 3, teases that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will vent to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) about his romantic woes.
It should be a nice distraction for Ben, who’s been struggling due to his own romantic crisis. We’ll see Ben become the love doctor as he dishes out some good advice!
Ben didn’t have any luck getting through to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), but that’s only because she can’t remember what she needs to. He won’t think things have to be as hard for Jake. Ben will push Jake to figure out which woman he truly wants and fight for her.
DOOL fans can tell Jake wants Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), but it seems he’ll remain in denial at first. Jake will still be trying to convince himself that he wants a real future with Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
Jake’s facing a hurdle now that Kristen has broken up with him while wearing a Kate mask. While Jake resolves to win “Kate” back, Kristen will have another tight spot to wiggle out of.
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will make a pass at “Kate” and hope they can have the fresh start he’s been pushing for.
“Kate” will reject Roman and hightail it out of there, but she’ll have to deal with Jake again later. Jake will deliver a heartfelt plea in hopes of getting their relationship back on track, but “Kate” will snap that it’s over and expect Jake to get over it.
Jake will end up cornering Gabi and presumably grilling her about this sudden breakup. Since Gabi has been known to scheme and rub Kate the wrong way, Jake may think Gabi’s to blame. Gabi will feel like Jake’s being a jerk and will want him to leave her alone – or so she’ll claim.
In reality, Gabi will probably enjoy the attention. Jake will clutch Gabi’s arm to stop her from walking away, so that’ll bring some electricity between them. Just like with Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), Gabi and Jake can get pretty turned on when they’re angry!
Down in the DiMera tunnels, Kate will fight for her freedom. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate will come up with a getaway plan, but it’ll be derailed when Kristen comes back and makes sure she’s properly restrained.
Kristen will want to move forward with her plan to dump Kate on that secluded DiMera island, so Kate may fear the worst.
At the DiMera mansion, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will assure Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) simply fell during their fight.
Abigail will deny pushing Gwen down the stairs when she’s questioned by her father and husband.
Gwen will take another trip to the hospital and will regain consciousness, but she’ll neglect to mention her earlier miscarriage to Jack, Chad or Abigail.
Gwen will pretend this tumble is the reason for her baby loss by the time Tuesday, May 4, rolls around, so Monday will set the stage for Gwen’s giant lie.
Over with John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Days spoilers say he’ll be in a legal jam since there’s a recording of his hypnosis session – one in which he accused Belle Brady (Martha Madison) of killing Charlie Dale (Mike Manning).
DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will push John to go on record at the police station as well. She’ll want a full incriminating statement against Belle, but John now knows his daughter denies shooting Charlie.
Of course, Trask won’t care about Belle’s denial. She’ll think John needs to look at the facts, but the truth is John never saw who was under that red hood.
John may bring that up to Trask soon enough and hope it can create some reasonable doubt for the jury if it comes to that. Days of Our Lives fans know Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is the real murderer, but that revelation won’t come for the characters just yet.
On Monday’s Days of Our Lives show, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will do her best to comfort Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Marlena won’t like the idea of John having to incriminate Belle since it’d break his heart, but Sami may think the truth will prevail if they’re patient.
